Terms of Service
Last updated August 26, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and CueCard ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the CueCard service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
CueCard provides a digital business card, contact capture, and an automated email follow-up sequence. When someone taps or scans your card and leaves their details, CueCard sends a welcome email on your behalf and, if they do not reply, no more than four follow-up emails. The sequence stops as soon as they reply, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Your account
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
Pricing and payment
CueCard is $99 to start, which includes your first tap card and your first year of service. It is then $79/year after that (Annual Service), which keeps your card live and your follow-ups running. Additional tap cards are $25 each.
Your card is live and shareable once you complete setup. We do not charge you automatically without your consent. If you stop your Annual Service, your card page goes offline and you can export your leads at any time.
Refunds and replacements
You can build your card and see exactly what you're getting before you pay anything, so we do not offer refunds once your card is live and your first card has been produced.
If your physical card arrives damaged, or the NFC chip doesn't work, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will replace it at no cost. Because NFC chips are permanently locked when written, we cannot reprogram a card, and we cannot replace a card for details you approved at the time of order. Need different details? Order an additional tap card.
If we end your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, we will refund the unused portion of your Annual Service.
Support access to your account
To provide support, investigate a problem, or ensure the service works correctly, we may access your account and the data in it, including your contacts and message history. We do this only when needed and we do not use your contacts for our own purposes.
Emails sent on your behalf
CueCard sends emails from our sending domain, displaying your name and business name. You are responsible for the content of anything you configure and for having a lawful basis to contact the people whose details you capture.
Replies from your leads route through CueCard before reaching you, and your replies route through CueCard before reaching them. This means CueCard stores and can access the contents of those conversations. See the Privacy Policy.
Every email includes an unsubscribe mechanism and our postal address, as required by law. You may not remove or disable these.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload: logo, photos, text, contact details. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and display it as part of the service.
You confirm you have the right to use anything you upload, including photographs of identifiable people. Where a photograph shows someone who is not you, you confirm you have that person's permission to use it commercially, and where the person is under 18, you confirm you have written permission from their parent or guardian. Some states, including Florida, require that permission for commercial use.
You are responsible for the content you upload. If someone brings a claim against us because of something you uploaded, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and any resulting liability, and we will tell you promptly and let you take the lead on your own defense.
We may remove content we believe breaches this section or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where we can, we'll tell you first.
Your contacts
The people whose details you capture are your contacts. We process them on your behalf, under the Data Processing terms. You can export them at any time.
Domains and hosting
Where CueCard registers a domain for you, it is registered in your legal name and you own it. If you leave, you may transfer it out. We provide a 30-day grace period after cancellation before content is removed.
Physical cards
Cards are produced to the details you approve at the time of order. NFC chips are permanently locked after writing and cannot be reprogrammed. We are not responsible for errors in details you approved.
Availability
We aim to keep CueCard running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Ending your account
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including anything that threatens the deliverability of our email infrastructure.
When you cancel: your card page and any CueCard-registered domain keep serving for 30 days. During those 30 days you can export your leads and content at any time, and reactivate by restarting your Annual Service. After 30 days your card page goes offline. Your data remains exportable for a further 60 days, and we delete your account and lead data within 90 days of cancellation. Want it deleted sooner? Email support@trycuecard.com and we'll delete it within 30 days of your request.
Your physical card stays yours. The NFC chip and QR code just point at a page no longer being served.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will note the date at the top of this page.
